Blog Post #9 "California"
Taking it back to the states this week, the next destination
that I want to travel is California. I know it’s kind of basic, but I feel like
everyone should go there, at least once in their life time. This is the hub of the
movie and television industry, and home to many celebrities. The atmosphere
would be absolutely chaotic and overwhelming, but I think it would be an
experience of a lifetime. I would probably want to go there in the winter time
because it would give me a little break from the freezing cold in the northeast
and also it wouldn’t be so humid and hot in L.A. I would defiantly want to take
a couple of friends with me so that we all can enjoy it together and freely go
where ever we want.
While in L.A. I would stay at The Garland hotel, it has a
shuttle that can take you to Universal Studios and with a look out the window you
can see the iconic Hollywood sign. I would defiantly go visit Universal
Studios, although I’m not big on theme parks I would just want to go for the
studio tour. I would love to see all the different film sets and witness what
goes on behind the scenes of the movies we fall in love with. Which is why I would
also want to visit Paramount Pictures and do a studio tour there too. Next on
the agenda would be walking down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It would be awesome to know that you are walking down the same side walk hundreds of stars
have been and to read all the legendary names that are honored there.
Afterward, we would take a drive through Beverly Hills to
look with amazement at all the fancy houses and city on our way to Santa Monica.
That day would be our beach day, we would hang out at the Santa Monica Pier with
a three-mile coast line, mountain views, and walking and biking pathways. Each
day I would want to go to a different beach to enjoy the drive along the coast.
Overall, this would be a really fun and adventurous trip with
friends. The warm weather, obviously, attracts me to this destination the most,
but doing the studio tours and visiting the many beaches would also be amazi. I hope if I ever did go on this trip, I would see a celebrity because is
it really a successful trip to California if you don’t get to see a star?
I really want to go to Cali now, it sounds great! I would also like to see all the Stars on the side walk and look at all the names. It's defiantly not a successful trip unless you see someone famous.
